Flightless Incline conveyors

There are many scenarios where a very steep incline is required, and flights are not an option. On a packaged product, this happens when the product is small, and we want to maintain product orientation on the belt. On raw/bulk product instead, it happens when we are dealing with a sticky product, and we want to be able to scrape the belt to minimize product loss. InLine Motion offers a solution for both of these scenarios. Topper conveyors with modular belts for packaged product and the InClimb conveyors with homogeneous belts for bulk product, in highly sanitary areas.

In the packaged product world, a friction top modular belt is used, and the top belt drapes on the bottom belt, gently grabbing the product as it goes up an incline of up to 80 degrees. When we are dealing with bulk/raw product, instead, we use a set of homogenous belts set at a specific distance apart and extrude the product up the incline. Scraper bars on both conveyor belts ensure that the product is fully discharged onto the next piece of equipment and not lost on the floor.
